Originally settled by German immigrants, it is vibrant place that has retained its charm and history through its beautifully renovated houses, Historic Shaw Art Fair, and many new businesses/restaurants/cafes. It is within walking distance from the Missouri Botanical Garden and Tower Grove Park, which offers varieties of activities and festivities.
